We are seeking a part-time pool attendant to work at a busy community pool. Hours are 28-30 per week. Must be able to work a schedule between the hours of 11:30 am and 7:30 pm Thursday-Sunday. This includes holidays.

Job Summary

Performs guest safety and recreational work supervising, swimming, and enforcing regulations for the residents. An essential responsibility of this role includes ensuring cleanliness, setting -up and safety of all areas and facilities, and attend to all guest's needs within the pool area as per the safety guidelines.

Essential functions:

  • Observes and patrols pool and enforces safety regulations.
  • Check IDs/Verify homeowner lives in the community
  • Monitor for unauthorized parties
  • Upon arrival, greet all guests, offer assistance with seating, deliver consistent guest service, exceed guest expectations, and provide all other supporting services.
  • Keep pool furniture organized, wiped down and clean, and close umbrellas when not in use
  • Identify and report defects throughout the pool and spa area, notify supervisors and concerned departments immediately of hazards, injuries, equipment, or processes that negatively affect the operations.
  • Keep bathrooms clean and stocked
  • Empty trash cans when needed
  • Ensure swimming pools and outside area is clean at all times and report any maintenance issues to the Manager.
  • Provide excellent service consistent with the HOA's standards, operating procedures, and brand attributes.
  • Take ownership of all resident requests and complaints and communicate complaints/issues to Community Ambassador.


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year customer service
  • Minimum 1 year hospitality service
  • Previous experience working as a pool attendant or lifeguard preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge
