Position Overview:

Nibav Lifts Inc. is looking for a meticulous and energetic Material Handler to join our team in San Diego, California. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing and moving materials efficiently within our warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of products from receipt to shipment. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of inventory accuracy and timely delivery to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive & Inspect Materials: Unload and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and quality, ensuring all deliveries match purchase orders.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and manage inventory in designated storage areas, performing regular cycle counts and maintaining accurate records.
  • Material Handling: Safely transport materials to various locations within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and preparing materials for production or shipment, ensuring orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
  • Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with shipping departments to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of materials and products.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Complete and maintain required documentation for material movements and inventory transactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet daily operational goals and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and inventory.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
