The Sr. BI and Sales Ops Analyst is a strategic member of the Business Architecture team under the Enterprise Sales organization. The Sr. BI and Sales Ops Analyst is responsible for coordinating data and business intelligence, providing pipeline, sales and revenue analytics, operational metrics for reporting, and business tracking in accordance with the business plan and strategy. You provide qualitative data models and analytical insights to our Sales and Ops Team. This role is part of a strong and fun BI Team, and works closely with the sales organization to support the US market, ensuring the business keeps growing by providing data solutions on critical issues and developing new insights to optimize our business. The Sr. BI and Sales Ops Analyst collaborates regularly with outside departments across the organization to ensure companywide goals and objectives are met. You actively team and align with enterprise teams to align services and products roadmap with targets and budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Comprehend data requests from a diverse group of stakeholders, and deliver quality data products to stakeholder satisfaction on time.
  • Understand and is comfortable with complex data relationships from multiple sources, and apply that to reports.
  • Expert with Excel and Power BI or similar data visualization tool – strong visualization skills.
  • Communicate data and results to stakeholders, training stakeholders on report functionality and meaning, as needed.
  • Partner with Data Sciences and Data Engineering to improve data quality.
  • Develop, prepare, and analyze Funnel, Sales, and Revenue reports, CRM and Power BI Dashboards, and Sales performance metrics/ KPIs for BU heads and enterprise teams.
  • Fast track automation and online reporting vs. weekly/monthly results.
  • Improve benchmarking and propose opportunities for better solutions.
  • Drive sales operational performance through KPI metrics and present business performance reports for the executive team
  • Evangelize sales operations success stories and sales operation systems and processes.
  • Full end-to-end responsibility for analytics from sales funnel reviews to on-going support for the sales teams, and business growth.
  • Partner closely with our Sales, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, Legal and Product leadership when engaging with our sales teams, to foster a sense of collaboration among the business units to support and track defined sales metrics/success criteria and leverage our product portfolio with new ideas, towards a sales opportunity when conducting sales funnel reviews with our sales force. Drive customer advocacy and influence internal stakeholders by promoting a customer-centric mindset throughout the company.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify and pursue customer growth opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations and operational insight on existing and new processes
  • Boost Data Literacy across our Sales and Operations teams to drive self-service BI
  • Tell stories with data by creating intelligent and informative dashboards
  • Analyze/maintain organizations KPIs pertaining to specific projects
  • Create custom data models and advanced analysis on the KPIs to drive key decisions
  • Communicate and meet with stakeholders to define technical solutions and their business impact together
  • Complete other ad hoc duties as assigned

5+ Related years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in several of the administrative, and management, roles at the highest level of a corporation.

  • At least 3+ years of previous experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, Data Modeling, or Project Management.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Have extensive go-to-market knowledge and well-developed process management skills, including experience with CRM and engagement tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Ability to consider both tactical detail and the big picture; you execute, learn, and teach
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in leveraging data for commercial advantage
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage projects autonomously and choose the desirable tech stack
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with all levels within the business; confidence in your ability to anticipate what is needed; flexibility and ability to use initiative
  • Previous experience working closely with Sales and Operations is a plus
  • Are a flexible and productive collaborator with a willingness to experiment and drive cross-functional initiatives.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Primarily work from office or home office, with regular travel throughout the United States to meet with and train field personnel, visit institutions, attend community events, and periodic travel for events at Sorenson Interpreting centers, hotels, or corporate HQ in Salt Lake City.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer and communicating via videophone.
  • Must be able to travel, including having reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
