Job description Swim Instructor- Fun, Stable & Good Pay

 

CDCW in Glen Allen, VA is seeking friendly, energetic, and responsible swim instructors and lifeguards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a passion for swimming, and enjoys working with children. Opportunity for growth

You would need to complete a swim instructor‘s course prior to starting (CDCW would pay for the course).

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Swim instruction for preschool and school age children (3-12years old)
  • Deliver learning progression in a safe and fun environment
  • Safely guard and enforce all pool safety rules (Lifeguard)
  • Commit to the assigned work shifts or schedules
  • Timely recognize & respond to emergencies with care as trained

Qualifications and Skills

  • Attention to detail and awareness of pool safety
  • Competitive swim experience (preferred not required)
  • Swim Instruction Experience (preferred not required)
  • Lifeguard experience with active Lifeguard Certification (preferred not required)
  • Must be 16 years or older and fluent in English
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
