Responsibilities of the Medical Biller:
  • Complete and file insurance claims for reimbursement.
  • Validate patient details, diagnoses, and treatment codes.
  • Pursue unpaid claims and resubmit as needed.
  • Inspect medical records for accurate coding and billing.
Requirements of the Medical Biller:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is a prerequisite.
  • Preferably certified in medical billing and coding.
  • Prior experience in medical billing is desirable.
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminology, billing software, and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Salary:$22.00 to $25.00 /hour
