Our Opportunity

Snyk is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Global Services to build, lead, and shape our professional services and solution architect teams and eventually build out a new customer and partner education organization. Your core focus will be to develop the strategy and execution plan to drive increased adoption of the Snyk platform through a higher attach rate of services for both existing and new customers. This includes both optimizing our existing portfolio of Services offerings as well as building net new offerings, determining and building the appropriate delivery methodology (including our partner channel), while enhancing operational efficiency with continuous innovation, assuring we achieve customer outcomes and growth in their use and value from the Snyk platform.

You'll Spend Your Time:

  • Developing and executing a global growth strategy for the Professional Services organization. This includes identifying new market opportunities, expanding our service offerings, and building a strong partner ecosystem.
  • Leading and managing a high-performing team of professional services consultants. You will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners. You will work closely with customers to understand their unique needs and challenges, and develop solutions that help them achieve their application security objectives. You will also partner with key technology partners to expand our reach and go-to-market strategy.
  • Driving revenue and ultimately achieving profitability for the Professional Services organization. You will be accountable for setting and achieving ambitious growth targets, and ensuring the financial health of the business.
  • Partnering closely with the pre-sales organization to identify new services opportunities, create a process for scaling the scoping and selling of services, work with the enablement organization to properly train the field on the services portfolio etc
  • Working cross-functionally to build the customer and partner education and certification strategy. This includes systems, processes and resource requirements and ultimately how to build into a monetized services offering.
  • Building processes to measure the performance and impact of the PS Team and ensure that the team is optimized to meet rapidly evolving business needs
  • Being a thought leader on industry trends, and competitive dynamics, and leverage this knowledge to shape strategy around user engagements
  • Championing the voice of our customers to influence product direction and feature priorities
  • Leveraging AI to transform customer services, knowledge sharing, product interlock and evolve the PS function.

What You'll Need:

  • Been an appsec practitioner for 5+ years .
  • Designed, delivered and maintained enterprise deployments of Static, Dynamic or Interactive Analysis tools.
  • Managed on-site application security consulting teams acting as the main point of contact with the customer.
  • You have a start-up mentality and both a willingness and excitement to build and lead a services organization with the agility to make the necessary optimizations and changes as the Snyk business continues to grow rapidly.
  • You have demonstrated ability in SaaS software companies holding a successful track record of accelerating revenue growth, and owning and managing a P&L for services.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and manage teams during a fast-paced transformative journey at a SaaS software company.
  • A passion for building and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Familiarity with Cloud-based and AI-powered deployments and optimizations, and
  • Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and build credibility at all levels.
  • Experience using a mix of in-house vs. Partner-delivered services.
  • Experience in selling Professional Services and collaborating with Sales teams, across Customer Success and GTM to drive successful post-sales service engagements.
  • Experience with developing and delivering transformation services.

We'd be Lucky if You:

  • Worked as both an application security consultant as well as part of a corporate application security business unit.
  • Engaged in thought leadership activities and authored application security-focused whitepapers, blogs, etc.
  • Presented as a keynote or technical expert at local, regional, national or international Application Security industry events
  • Had experience as a software engineer, architect or DevSecOps professional
