Requirements:
  • Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process a high volume of invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and process check payments according to payment schedules.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, responding to inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain invoice data in the accounting system, ensuring completeness and correctness.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendor statements.
  • Compliance: Ensure all payments are processed in compliance with company policies.
  • Reporting: Assist in generating monthly accounts payable reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function and assist in implementing changes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth processing and payment of invoices.



Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Quickbooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
