Job Overview:
Are you a skilled Millwright with expertise in assembling complex equipment? Join our team in Peoria, Illinois, and play a vital role in the assembly of a 10.4 M Thermal Oxidizer unit. This project offers competitive compensation ranging from $30 per hour. We value your dedication and expertise as you work 60 hours per week to assemble, weld, and install mechanical components and ensure the smooth operation of this critical system.

Responsibilities:

Assemble a 10.4 M Thermal Oxidizer unit, received in multiple sections.
Unload sections from trucks and fit them together seamlessly.
Perform MIG Flux Core welding (304L and 309L stainless steel) on seams, both inside and out.
Assemble mechanical components, including setting equipment with laser levels, installing fan rotors, adjusting bearings, and making up bolted flanges.
Hand-load ceramic blocks and install insulation at welded joints.
Re-install existing ladders, platforms, ducts, and miscellaneous items.
Ensure the precision and quality of the assembly process.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Millwright specializing in equipment assembly.
Proficiency in MIG Flux Core welding with stainless steel (304L and 309L).
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience setting equipment with laser levels and adjusting bearings.
Skill in making up bolted flanges and working with ceramic blocks and insulation.
Commitment to safety protocols and industry regulations.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
