Harrison County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in our Labor and Delivery Department.

Status: Full-time, Nights, 36 hrs/wk

The OB RN must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan with an emphasis on the neonate to adequately assess data reflective of the patients status to interpret the appropriate information needed to provide age-specific needs and to proved the care described in nursing policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

  • IV insertion and maintenance.
  • Fetal and maternal monitoring.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Basic nursing skills needed to function in labor, delivery, newborn nursery and post-partum.
  • Urinary catheter insertion and removal

Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN License in the state of Indiana.
  • NRP Certification
  • Prefer 1 year experience in labor, delivery, newborn nursery and post-partum
