Mobile Unit Driver Summary of Position: The Mobile Health Unit driver will be responsible for the vehicle pre-check before the vehicle leaves the facility. The driver will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is set up and hooked up properly at the designated location. The driver is primarily responsible for ensuring maintenance of the unit is performed at designated timeframe and records are kept in an accurate and timely manner. The driver is also responsible for clean out of holding tanks in the unit.
Mobile Unit Driver Qualifications: Current CDL license with passenger endorsement. Current unrestricted North Carolina driver’s license. Physically able to perform the functions and responsibilities of transporting, set-up, tear-down, and maintenance of the unit. Team player and willingness to assist as abilities allow. Willingness to learn other duties as assigned to enhance the performance of the mobile health clinic.
Education and Experience: High School graduate minimum. Minimum of 3 years driving a bus or equivalent large transport vehicle that requires a CDL.
Dental Assistant II Summary of Position: A DA II must be able to perform all the minimum qualifications of the DA II job descriptions. The role of the DA II is a nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties related to dental patient care directed by dental providers. They may be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling minimal clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the dental services.
Dental Assistant II Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time. Able to read and understand the English language. Able to effectively maintain confidentiality of records and communicate with all levels of personnel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management staff, and contacts outside the organization. Must be able to work with multiple changing priorities. Requires excellent organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must be able to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to function as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance
Dental Assistant II Key Responsibilities
- Take/record vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Room stocked and prepared for doctors arrival for treatment of patient
- Take and develop X-rays properly (radiographs)
- Mix, prepare, and/or provide all materials and instruments requested by the provider
- Provide proper instrument set-up prior to appointment
- Assist provider during examinations/procedures
- Update/maintain patient dental records accurately in the electronic dental record (EDR)
- Maintain sterilization and tray set up
- Compliance with all OSHA/HIPAA/PPE regulations
Mobile Unit Driver Key Responsibilities:
- Daily pre-check of vehicle maintenance before leaving the facility.
- Ensure vehicle is properly fueled.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance is performed as recommended.
- Park, set-up, level, hook-up, and tear down unit daily.
- Return unit to designated location daily
- Weekly cleaning and maintenance of vehicle to include, but not limited to emptying sewer and water tanks.
- Daily ensuring that water storage tanks are filled or as needed.
- Available to assist with other events as feasible.
- Provide surveillance of area for safety purposes.
- Assist with other duties as assigned and as training and abilities allow.
