We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service and maintenance to refrigeration systems in various commercial settings. Our valued customers include schools, hospitals, agricultural businesses, restaurants, and mini marts. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the field and possess expertise in hot side equipment. An EPA card is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and installation of refrigeration systems in accordance with company standards and client requirements.- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration units, ice machines, walk-in coolers, freezers, and other related equipment.- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of refrigeration systems and identify potential problems.- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide appropriate solutions.- Keep accurate records of service visits, repairs, and parts used.- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements in refrigeration systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician.- Proficient in servicing, repairing, and installing various types of refrigeration systems.- Strong knowledge of hot side equipment and its integration with refrigeration systems.- Possess a valid EPA card.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and tasks.- Strong communication and customer service skills.- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
