Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

This position is responsible for the routine cleaning and light maintenance of administration areas at PFNW. This is part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours will be approximately 3 hours a day, not to exceed 25 hours a week. No benefits will be provided.


Duties include but are not limited to:


· Cleaning admin areas which include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, collecting and disposing of trash/recycling, cleaning windows, spot clean carpet stains, emergency spills, etc.

· Straighten furniture, other items, using attention to detail while leaving areas presentable for the next day.

· Sanitizing/disinfecting restrooms, locker rooms, conference rooms and lunchroom areas.

· Perform routine inspections, report major repairs needed, and make minor repairs.

· Stock work areas and supply restrooms.

· Report needed cleaning supplies to keep chemicals properly stocked.

· Safely use cleaning chemicals: labeling, dilution, proper mixing, etc.

· Spray interior of buildings for insects.

· Work closely with maintenance to keep admin areas at optimal conditions.

· Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.

· Wear required Personal Protective Equipment: gloves, safety glasses, etc. and practice safe work practices with the ability to understand and interpret PFNW policies and procedures, if necessary.

· Ability to perform duties thoroughly and organize work for efficient use of time.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and practice proper lifting techniques.

· Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing during extended periods of time.

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

· Knowledge and application of basic maintenance skills.

· Must be able to work independently.


Working Conditions

Work is in an office-type environment. This position involves standing, walking, bending, crouching and arms above head.
