Overview of Responsibilities: 
KDF Technologies, LLC is seeking a Materials Control Specialist  to perform our production scheduling and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of creating and executing manufacturing orders, driving MRP and purchasing items to fulfill production and inventory requirements.

Key Job Elements:
  • Create manufacturing orders and coordinate release to manufacturing based on production schedules.
  • Handle all purchasing activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Coordinate production control and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Drive MRP system to optimize inventory levels and production schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing and procurement in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems
