Rebate Specialist

Johnstone Supply is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our finance team. This individual will handle rebate processing to ensure compliance along with providing excellent customer service.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Rebate Specialist include, but are not limited to:

 

1. Program Management 

• Research and stay updated on rebate programs from government agencies and other organizations
• Maintain a database of rebate programs, eligibility requirements, and deadlines

 

1. Application Prep and Submission

• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed for the applications
• Submit and complete application promptly
• Follow up with the organizations to ensure processing and approval of applications

 

1. Customer/Internal Communication

• Communicate with customers the opportunities, requirements, and status updates
• Collaborate with finance, sales and marketing teams
• Partner with product development and branches
• Support internal departments on rebate program and details

 

1. Tracking and Reporting

• Tracking the status of submitted applications while ensuring timely follow-up during the process
• Maintain accurate records of all applications, approvals and rejections
• Prepare reports on activity, success rates, and any issues/concerns during the process
• Staying up to date with state-sponsored rebates

 

1. Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure all applications comply with regulations and program guidelines
• Maintain and organize files for all rebate-related documents

 

1. Customer and Market Research

• Identify customer preferences and purchasing behavior
• Collect customer feedback and rebate data to refine strategies

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Proficiency in Excel and CRM software
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to learn and adapt to changes promptly
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance, marketing, sales, and branches

Preferred

• Previous experience in rebate program

Desired

• HVAC industry experience
