What we’re looking for:

As a Wave Planner, you are responsible for coordinating and managing the release of orders within a warehouse management system (WMS). Your primary focus is on the efficient flow of work, ensuring timely order processing, and maintaining communication across operations.

 

What you’ll do (including, but not limited to): 

  • Coordinate the prioritization and release of orders from the WMS or equivalent to the operations team.
  • Manage the priority of pick-level processes for orders, including emergency orders and service cut-offs.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives, Supervisors, Dispatchers, and Master Scheduler to prioritize orders effectively.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is in the system.
  • Notify Operations of any requested changes from customers related to scheduling, processing, or shipping.
  • Generate labor reports and review them with the appropriate Supervisors and Managers (if applicable).
  • Review and update product code zone assignments, pick locations, staging/door zones and assignments as needed.

 

What you’ll bring to the role: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Self-Starter who can work well both independently and with a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized.
  • Good attendance record and a good work ethic.
  • Comfortable working in colder temperatures while wearing personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. (18kgs)
  • Ideally comprehend, read, and write English and Spanish
