An agriculture company based in Salinas is seeking a bilingual Human Resource Manager on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Manage recruitment and staffing processes, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and handle employee relations issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee performance management processes and support managerial staff in employee evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the agriculture industry.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Must have union experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
