DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Coordination responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Taking incoming phone call and internet leads and contact, educate, and schedule patients for consultation, surgery, and post-operative follow-up care
  • Timely follow up of all internet leads and phone inquiries
  • Going through the current database to find and follow-up with under-contacted people
  • Talking to patients, both new and old, by phone, email, virtual consultation etc.
  • Regular computer notation, report creation, mastery of computer software programs for use as a CRM and reporting tool
  • Observing and shadowing extensively teams daily activities and patient coordination processes
  • Observing and participating in consultations, performing sales consultations, and booking surgery, cosmetic services, and similar treatments
  • Review all patient demographics and history for accuracy in EMR system
  • Scribing for physicians during consultations and re-check appointments
  • Facilitating patient flow/room turnover
  • Attending training sessions, workshops etc.
  • Timely task completion and organization
  • Facilitating, developing, and building upon current Business-to-Business and Physician-to-Physician referral base
  • Whatever it takes within ethical bounds to achieve growth as a practice and to keep patients and doctors happy
  • Surgery coordination
  • Creating and presenting quotes to patients for surgical procedures based on directives from the operating physician after a comprehensive consultation
  • Confirming facility and anesthesia costs with surgical centers
  • Confirming supply costs (Peak, Implants, garments, etc.)
  • Scheduling procedures based on length of time needed and operating physician and patient schedule preferences
  • Receiving and logging payments in EMR system
  • Housekeeping
  • Laundering of patient gowns, sizing bras, bedding, and towels as needed
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all exam room and minor procedure room surfaces following any patient care contact
  • Sterilization of medical instruments
  • Proper disposal of medical and hazardous waste in marked receptacles
  • After hours email and phone responses to patient questions and inquiries as needed
  • Special Events: Expected participation in special after hours events as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher - preferred
  • 2+ years in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, or MedSpa
  • 2+ years consultative sales
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
