Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client in Macomb, MI is seeking multiple Die Repair Technicians for their Automation facility. In this role qualified candidates will be working in the Tool Room and repairing Dies. Must be experienced running tool room equipment such as: surface grinder, Bridgeport, manual lathe, drill press, etc and have some Welding experience
Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:45am - 5:15pm2nd shift Monday - Friday 5pm -3:30am
Pay Rate: $25-$32 an hour (room for growth based off performance and attendance)
RESPONSIBILITIES of Die Repair Tech:
  • Maintain existing dies
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Die improvements
  • General die repairs
  • Troubleshooting ability with in-press repairs
  • Other duties as required by the Foreman
  • Repair and maintain forms and dies on a regular schedule and through work requests generated by the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Schedule, negotiate timetables, monitor progress, and validate the quality of work with external mold/die vendors.
  • Communicate down time status with facilities manager and production managers in line down situations
