Shipping Handler

Leading manufacturing company providing machining, brazing, and robotic welding services of

wear part consumables for the forestry and demolition industries is seeking to fill an operator

packaging position for its Clare, MI location.

Responsibilities include:

 Performing inventory counts;

 Preparing parts for shipping/receiving;

 Operating forklift;

 Loading and unloading semi-trucks;

 Prepare documents for shipping such as BOL and pack lists;

 Organizing, counting, and parts record keeping;

 Assisting shipping supervisor as required.

Position prerequisites include:

 HS/GED preferred;

 Minimum two (2) years forklift operation experience preferred;

 Inventory/packaging experience preferred;

 Dependability to consistently be at work and on time with ability to work overtime;

 Organizational skills, clerical perception, and basic computer skills;

 Manual dexterity, fine manipulation, close visual acuity, near/far vision, multi-limb

coordination, and light/medium lifting capability (up to 50 lbs).
