Junior Pool Technician

Are you a Pool Technician looking for a new opportunity?

A Jr. Technician candidate will begin as a trainee and work directly with a senior technician in a 2-3 week paid training intensive. With successful completion of training, you will have the opportunity to move into a Jr. technician position. To succeed in this role you will need to be a quick learner, be able to oversee and ensure the quality workmanship of you and your tech helper, and communicate professionally and effectively with customers and your supervisor.

Location: Mechanicsville, VA

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Schedule: 7 AM-4 PM M-F

Essential Functions:

• Repetitive heavy lifting
• Open and close pools
• Pool pump and filter replacements
• Sand changes
• Beginner plumbing or repair work
• Oversee responsibilities of Assistant Tech
• Communicate with customers
• Responsibilities as assigned
• Potential minor repair/ service work dependent on mechanical ability
• Communication with customers.
• Managing responsibilities of your tech helper.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

• Mechanical ability
• Previous plumbing, construction or electrical experience is a plus.

• Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
