Job DescriptionJob Description

As an Enterprise Data Architect Consultant you will be responsible for:
Gathering Requirements: Collaborating with business to understand their data needs, requirements, and business objectives
Data Discovery: Analyzing existing data sources, systems and processes to identify relevant data entities, attributes, and relationships
Data Modeling: Designing the conceptual, logical, and physical data models that represent the structure and semantics (Data Dictionary Alignment) of the org’s data assets, leveraging industry standard models such as FDX
Standardization: Establishing data model standards, naming conventions, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across the enterprise
Documentation: Documenting the enterprise data model, including data definitions, metadata, and data lineage to facilitate understanding and comms (high collage with data governance)
Validation and Iteration: Validation of the enterprise model with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business requirements, iteratively refining the model based on feedback and changing business needs
Maintain collaborative, consultative relationships with internal partners and third-party consultants.

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related. Required.

Experience
10+ years of experience in data modeling, data design, and architecture
Certifications such as DAMA/TOGAF preferred
Banking industry experience MUST
