Private Golf Club looking for a Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant
Position Summary:
This position manages all aspects of Member Billing/Accounts Receivable from entering and maintaining member files, billing, reconciling, processing of sales, payments in all forms (checks, PAP’s and credit cards) and preparing, processing, month-end member statements. Assists in handling all member billing inquiries. In addition, assists controller with account analysis and keeping detailed schedules. Processes monthly Sales and Use Tax. Acts as back-up to Accounting Assistant in the areas of payroll and accounts payable.
Salary will be based on previous experience.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of accounting experience preferably within the club or hospitality industry. Excellent computer and communication skills (knowledge of Jonas Software and strong excel skills are a plus). The candidate must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, and adhere to deadlines.
Work Location: In person
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
