Experienced Electrician

Quality Service Company, LLC is a locally owned and operated HVAC company. Chris McDonald started Quality Service Company in 2003 after working with other local HVAC companies for around 10 years. In 2011, Chuck Polk joined in partnership with Chris. Chuck had been working in the HVAC industry for over two decades with local HVAC companies, then as a Trane employee, and then owning his own business. The two merged their companies under the name, Quality Service Company, LLC.

Quality Service Company is now hiring an Experienced Electrician in the Florence area. Qualified candidates must have experience in residential and light commercial electrical work. This position has the potential to grow into a Lead Electrician.

Primary Job Function:

• Assist more experienced Service Professionals and receive on-the-job training to learn proper procedures for the service and maintenance of electrical systems as needed
• Review work instructions and perform work assignments to customer and company quality standards
• Properly selects tools and supplies to be used at the work site
• Read and comprehend all applicable safety policies and regulations including OSHA regulations and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Read, comprehend, and observe all applicable company operating rules and procedures
• Attend company and outside schools to enhance technical education to meet job technical requirements and state and local licensing requirements
• Assist in proper care and security of all company vehicles, tools, and materials consistent with company policy
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep supplies and parts in order
• Maintain physical appearance, attitude, demeanor, and conduct to reflect a good public image consistent with company policy
• Perform other duties as required. This may include duties that are outside the scope of normal job duties.

Pay Rate: Depends on Experience

Qualification Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background check
• A minimum of 2 years of residential and light commercial Electrical experience
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Detail-oriented, organized, results-driven individual

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of Air Cooled Generators
• Knowledge of Service Upgrades (Indoor and Outdoor)
• Experience in Home Renovation Projects
• Performing Residential Service Calls
