Overview: We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of all attendees, staff, and property during a graduation ceremony. The Security Guard will be responsible for enforcing event policies, monitoring crowd behavior, and responding promptly to any security concerns or emergencies.

Responsibilities:

1. Crowd Control: Manage the flow of attendees, ensuring orderly entrance and exit from the venue.

2. Surveillance: Maintain constant vigilance over the event area, monitoring for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access.

3. Enforcement: Enforce event policies and regulations, including dress code, ticketing, and prohibited items.

4. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any security incidents, including medical emergencies, disturbances, or evacuations.

5. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with event organizers, fellow security personnel, and local authorities as necessary.

6. Customer Service: Provide assistance and guidance to attendees as needed, helping to ensure a positive and safe experience for all.

7. Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the venue, both inside and outside, to deter potential threats and ensure the security of the premises.

8. Report Writing: Document any security incidents, observations, or actions taken in detailed written reports.

Requirements:

1. Security License: Must possess a valid security license or be willing to obtain one prior to the event.

2. Experience: Prior experience in security or crowd management is preferred, especially in event settings.

3. Physical Fitness: Able to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects if necessary.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

5. Problem-Solving Abilities: Quick-thinking and resourceful, able to assess situations rapidly and take appropriate action.

6. Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the security team and the event organizers positively.

Additional Information:

• This position is temporary and will require availability for the duration of the graduation ceremony and any associated events.
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
