TITLE: Customer Experience Specialist DIVISION: Customer Experience

REPORTS TO: Sales Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt- Hourly

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Customer Experience teammates provide exceptional customer service by processing orders, finding solutions to order issues, and communicating transit ETAs. Teammates must be able to multitask, stay organized and have flexible, professional, get-it-done attitudes.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process customer orders
  • Communicate order statuses
  • Review order accuracies
  • Collect and input orders submitted via phone, email, text, voicemail, or on-line ordering
  • Create and maintain professional, positive relationships with customers
  • Meet daily and seasonal department deadlines
  • Inform customers of item availability and offer appropriate substitutions when necessary
  • Assist customers daily to resolve problems and provide customer service via telephone and email
  • Work with procurement to proactively notify customers of low inventory items

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellence in both verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational skills, great multi-tasker, attention to detail
  • Not afraid to resolve customer issues
  • Thrives in an independent work environment, self-motivated & structured
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Customer service focused and excellent phone skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Establish priorities, and make decisions

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Professional office environment with ambient room temperature, typical lighting and traditional office equipment.

Teammates may need to:

  • Sit or stand as required
  • Walk on mostly level surfaces throughout the day
  • Reach or lift filing documents above shoulder height or below the waist (proper lifting techniques are required)
  • Lift up to 25 pounds

This role may allow hybrid work schedule (to be determined by location manager)


Pay: $19.00- 22.00/hour

Schedule: Monday- Friday

Hours: 8am-5pm + some overtime as needed

Location: On Site -913 Big Horn Dr., Jefferson City, MO 65109
