Financial Analyst – Pittsburgh, PA (McKeesport 15132)
  • Direct Hire; Full-time hire with Company and full benefits
  • Monday – Friday – daylight eastern time schedule
  • Up to $60,000 as new employee (performance-based pay raises available, after hire)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related business field required
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience required.
  • Microsoft Office spreadsheet application required, and PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience
Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document moderate to complex financial analysis projects
  • Manage County and State contracts involving financial reporting, reviewing data from systems and preparing schedules for annual audits required by the County & State
  • Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions
  • Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis related to projects and/or programs
  • Analyze financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability
  • Perform moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various financial systems.
  • Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Collect and study data to determine costs of business activities. Recommend budget adjustments, and other cost improvement measures.
