Position Summary:

Montana Gift Corral is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Retail Manager who exemplifies our Servant Leadership culture. The Retail Manager will play a crucial role in supervising store operations, delivering outstanding customer service, and leading a highly motivated team. This position calls for a dynamic leader with exceptional organizational and communication skills, capable of motivating and empowering staff to reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Open and close the store, ensuring smooth operations during business hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
  • Servant Leadership: Lead by example, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where employees feel valued and empowered.
  • Staff Management: Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance, performance feedback, and developmental opportunities.
  • Customer Service: Ensure customers receive outstanding service, creating a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor sales performance, analyze data to identify trends, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance profitability.
  • Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-presented and merchandised to company standards, enhancing the shopping experience.
  • Financial Management: Handle cash management, including daily reconciliation and bank deposits, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure all company policies, procedures, and safety standards are adhered to, maintaining a secure and compliant store environment.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Work with the management team to plan and execute in-store promotions and events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a retail manager or in a similar role, preferably in a gift or specialty store.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, focusing on Servant Leadership principles.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional business administration or related field education is a plus.
