Material Handler

MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE IN MATERIAL HANDLING

Connect Staffing is looking for a motived material handler to join a leading manufacturing company in Plantersville, TX

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm

Must have a flexible schedule and available on weekends. (Occasional OT)

Material Handler Requirements:

• Minimum of one year experience in material handling.
• Must be able to operate a sit down forklift.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Able to stand for 8+ hours at a time.
• Prior experience in roles such as a Warehouse Associate, Shipping and Receiving, Forklift Operator, Production Assistant, or Material Coordinator is a big plus

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Pick orders and tickets efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Properly store materials in designated areas within the warehouse or production floor, ensuring accessibility and efficient use of space.
• Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the manufacturing facility using a forklift or other equipment.
• Assist in receiving incoming materials (frac units) and inspecting them for quality and quantity, ensuring they meet production requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking quantities, locations, and movements of materials.
