Crimson Electric is an electrical apparatus service center in the Carolinas. The company specializes in the repair and testing of AC/DC motors and drives, servo motors, pumps and gear reducers. Crimson’s facility includes state-of-the-art equipment for the comprehensive repair, engineering and testing of equipment.Description:We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Duncan, SC to work on pumps and other rotating equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment repair and maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:- Tear down rotating equipment, utilizing manufacturer’s recommendations and industry best practices

  • Inspect equipment and parts for wear and damage
  • Diagnose possible reason(s) for failure
  • Provide information on parts and additional work required
  • Provide recommendations to improve the reliability of the equipment
  • Complete information in reports as required
  • Paint and prepare equipment for shipment
  • Load, secure to truck, and deliver equipment as necessary
  • Clean and organize shop as required

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

You should be proficient in:

  • Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills

Salary info:

$20 - $40 / hr
