Position Summary: Teaches preschool children in a classroom setting. Implements curriculum, on-going observation, assessment, and child outcomes systems, consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards. They work as a partner with families in the health, attendance, and education of their children. Supervises and provides direction/guidance to Associate Teacher and Classroom Support Staff.
Job Type: Full Time, Program Year, Exempt
Expected Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8a-4:30p, 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary due to daily schedule.
Rate of Pay: AA $1,472.00 Bi-weekly BA or Higher $1,675.20 Bi-weekly
Education Requirement: Minimum: AA degree in Early Childhood Education. Desired: BA degree in Early Childhood Education
Related Experience: Must be 18 years or older. Minimum: One-year related experience preferred
