Praxis Prep Tutor

Passaic County Community College is seeking a part-time Praxis Prep Tutor to assist the Education Program in preparing students to take the Praxis exam.

This is a part-time, hourly position. Praxis Prep Tutor will work in-person on campus.

Examples of Duties

• Provide group and individual Praxis tutoring
• Assist faculty in promoting Praxis Prep tutoring
• Maintain tutoring schedule and attendance records
• Create tutoring material as needed
• Support students in using Praxis prep software
• Be able to multitask and communicate well with students and faculty.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Tutoring experience
• Familiarity with the Praxis test
• Ability to follow through and be self-directed
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff
