We are searching for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the Property and Maintenance staff in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of apartment units, grounds-keeping, and overall facility appearance. The individual will perform a variety of duties preparing apartments to be rented and resolving work orders submitted by our current residents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Regular communication with Maintenance/Property Managers to stay on top of make ready schedule and emergency work orders.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service for guests.
  • Perform general maintenance of the buildings, appliances and grounds, performing light plumbing and electrical, and painting.
  • Material handling and storage, such as, moving and/or installing appliances and furniture.
  • Ensure grounds and common areas i.e., laundry room, pool, courtyard, walkways are kept clean at all times. This includes shoveling and ice melt during winter months.
  • Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. This includes a rotation schedule responding to respond to emergency calls after hours and on week-ends.
  • Other duties as requested by Management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
  • May require valid drivers license, vehicle registration and insurance.
