We are looking to build our Intensive Placement Stabilization Program (IPS) and are seeking individuals to fill the position of IPS Therapist. In addition to our competitive compensation and benefits package, we are also offering a $3,000 signing bonus
The IPS Therapist will provide a variety of wrap-around services to meet the holistic care goals of the youth on their caseload. This will include activities such as home-based family and individual therapy, advocacy, running Family Team Meetings, and providing trauma informed psychoeducation to foster parents. Our team specializes in trauma informed care, with a goal to promote healing relationships between youth and their caregivers, to create stability in the home and throughout the youth's life.

In addition to agency trainings on trauma and attachment, the Intensive Placement Stabilization Program receives training on clinical topics including the Attachment, Regulation, Competency (ARC) Framework, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART), and Theraplay.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical support services to youth and their caregivers for a caseload of 10-12 youth in care, such as individual and family therapy.
- Develop and document thorough initial and ongoing assessments of each assigned child, youth and his/her/their caregiver(s).
- Utilize trauma informed interventions such as ARC, SPACE, SMART, or other evidence-based models that meet the various clinical needs of children, youth, families, and collaterals on assigned caseload.
- Collaborate with the child and family team to develop, review and modify Individual Treatment Plans (ITP) that address assessment needs in an effort to stabilize the child/youth's placement.
- Provide an array of in-person home/community based-therapeutic services, as identified in the ITP, to the child/youth and caregivers to improve the child/youth - caregiver relationship and promote stability within the home.
- Document all admission, ongoing and closing activities in a timely manner using approved forms. This included progress notes, CANS 2.0, clinical assessment, treatment plans, and monthly notes.
- Consult regularly with professional and family members of the child/youth's team to ensure quality service coordination and communication.
Requirements
Minimum Degree Required: Master's Degree in social work or social service related degree
Licensure: LCSW or LCPC licensure preferred, not required
Information Technology Skills Required: Microsoft Office Proficiency
Schedule: This job requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings (example: 10am-6pm, 11am-7pm)
Other requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and time management skills.
- Must be able to use Word, Outlook, and video conferencing services.
- Full time use of minimally insured operating automobile and valid driver's license is required.
