The newly established Center for Bioprocessing (C4B), strategically located within the renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, is situated at Levit Green. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by a dedicated team of experts, C4B is poised to drive innovation in bioprocessing.

Job Description

This is an entry and low-level position, suitable for individuals who are starting their industrial career and seeking an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform chromatographic recombinant protein and antibody purification using FPLCs.
• Adhere to work schedules, conducting technical benchwork for projects.
• Report lab results and inventories to the manager.
• Follow safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field required.
• Basic training in biological and biochemical experiment in a wet lab environment.
• Experience with the Cytiva AKTA system or other FPLC systems for protein purification preferred but not required.
• Understanding of recombinant protein purification principles and techniques.
• Problem-solving skills in wet lab environments.
• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills for documentation and reporting.
