Summary:

The Unit Delivery Specialist provides the leading customer experience by transporting new and used units safely to the end customer and facilitating driver orientation to ensure proper operation of the unit. This role will also be responsible for transporting, detailing and setting up units for Tradeshows. Another key aspect of this role is safely transporting units to and from local and regional vendors.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Transporting units safely
  • Facilitating unit delivery and driver orientation
  • Tradeshow support
  • Assist yard jockey's as needed
  • DOT compliance - Pre-trip inspection, drivers logs, permits
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL with air brakes, hazmat and tank endorsements

Accountable For:

  • Safe delivery of units
  • DOT compliance

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, 20 lbs. of force frequently, and 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
  • Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions

Safety:

Follow policies found in Seneca Tank's Safety Manual.

Special Conditions of Employment:

Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, job candidates are required to pass a pre-employment physical and drug-screen.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 35% of the time, which includes overnight stays.
