We're currently seeking an experienced BAS Controls Programmer to join our innovative team in San Diego, CA. This role is tailored for professionals with extensive expertise in building automation systems, particularly those skilled in programming Tridium controls, and proficient with Niagara and Distech platforms. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining effective control strategies for a diverse range of commercial projects, ensuring optimal integration, performance, and system efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and refine control strategies using Tridium, Niagara, and Distech platforms to enhance building automation systems.
  • Facilitate seamless integration and communication between building systems and devices.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify programming issues to ensure continuous system efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to achieve project requirements and deliver exceptional solutions.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all programming activities, configurations, and system changes.
  • Ensure programming and implementation activities are conducted in compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and safety practices.
  • Perform comprehensive system testing and commissioning to verify system functionality and performance against project expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer technical support, and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in Tridium controls programming.
  • Deep knowledge of Tridium, Niagara, and Distech building automation platforms.
  • Strong background in control programming principles and integration of commercial building systems.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication capabilities, suitable for teamwork and client engagement.
  • Residency in San Diego, CA, or willingness to relocate, with a consistent and commendable professional history in the BAS field.
