Job Details
- This key role is responsible for repair and maintenance of EV charging, including but not limited to site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, and other duties as required
- Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and work under various conditions.
- Evening or weekends work is rare but may be requested for emergency response.
- OEM testing, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade EV charger equipment
- Perform testing on equipment, including but not limited to; insulation testing (megger testing), thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate/isolate ground faults
- Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment
- Communicate with internal and external customers, as required
- Working around high voltages and currents
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), always including a hard hat and safety glasses
- Working days, nights, weekends, and overtime as required
- Repetitive use of legs, arms, hands, and fingers
- Travel may be required
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong background in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
- 2+ years’ experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field.
- Experience in power engineering
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field is Required.
- Licensed electrician preferred.

This is a fully onsite position located in Fremont, CA; Monday- Friday from 10 am to 7 pm.
