Lab Tech II

We are currently seeking a reliable and ambitious team player to join our Laboratory. Our Scientists play a critical role in antibody development and supporting various teams across our organization. Important aspects of this role include excellent organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills, along with the ability to efficiently thrive in a highly interactive and goal-oriented team environment.

• Filling finished product to specifications as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures
• Performing laboratory experiments independently or with other team members as instructed. This includes, but not restricted to, buffer preparation, raw material processing and manufacture, inventory management and product handling.
• Maintain laboratory space, equipment and inventory in an appropriate and professional manner
• Excellent attention to detail, proactive planning and ability to organize and carry out tasks with quality in a timely fashion
• Takes initiative in delivering results on time and responding to needs of the team
• Responds to direction as provided and follows established maintenance of notebook records and documentation standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum HS Diploma, Associates Degree preferred
• Knowledge and interest in biological or chemical sciences
• Critical thinking and analysis skills, willing to learn new techniques
• Ability to perform laboratory calculations and conversions
• Ability to work and maintain strong relationships with department managers, members of your team and other departmental staff
• Familiar with MS Office applications
• Strong command of English Language – written and oral
• Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures
• Knowledge of QSR/cGMP guidelines or other documentation processes; Understanding of basic immunology concepts is a plus
