Alternate Job Title: Technician I, Service Operations

Responsibilities:
As the Technician I, Service Operations, you will be a key contributor to the success of the Global Robotics Service and Support, Service Operations team. You will:

  • Organize and maintain lab cleanliness and product movements.
  • Assist in technical troubleshooting, escalation management, failure analysis, and system performance inspections for the Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) global service operations and regional service teams.
  • Perform various duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment, components, devices, and systems.
  • Follow schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Operate equipment, conduct tests, and report data in specified formats.
  • Perform calibration, alignment checks, adjustments, modifications, and part replacements as directed.
  • Manage inventory movements and new/returned product management.

  • Organizational Impact: Performs technical activities and records data according to defined procedures.
  • Innovation and Complexity: Handles routine technical issues with prescribed solutions.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Requires basic knowledge of systems and procedures. No college education required; prior experience not necessary.
