PETADATA is currently hiring for the position of Project Manager for one of their clients

Job Description :

  • We seek an experienced Project manager (Implementation Testing) to join the Testing team. The role involves leading one or more deals involving end-to-end functional testing in support of our clients and internal business units.

  • The successful candidate must be skilled in leading multi-year programs consisting of complex business models and flows across front, middle, and back office operating models in an insourced and outsourced model.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the day-to-day Management of executing milestones and reporting on one or more Test projects.

  • Manage the Testing team with respect to on-time and proper task execution, internal training, control, and reporting to Senior Management.

  • Day-to-day leadership, Management & support of Testing projects.

  • Active Management through goals, essential performance, and quality indicators to improve overall quality and timeliness of Testing delivery.

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships that enforce the quality of the Service Client.

  • Building effective relationships with all work streams (Front, Middle, Back offices) and other teams

  • Provide functional test analysis, planning, design, execution, and reporting for testing assignments.

  • Estimation & Milestone planning for the project and provide estimates for the UAT.

  • Highlight Risks and issues at the management level promptly.

  • Ability to identify the issues across teams, bring them to Management's attention, and bring peace to the team.

  • Prepare where required: Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Coverage analysis for a given testing assignment.

  • Will play a lead role in analyzing and reporting test results, working closely with business, technology, and support areas to investigate and interpret test findings.

  • Assist in the reception and quality assurance of the business requirements, solution design, and business process documents for individual projects.

  • Participate in understanding requirements, resolving problems/issues, suggesting solutions, and identifying areas for service improvement.

Required Skills :

  • Possesses 10 + years of experience in project management that includes UAT, SIT, Regression, and other types of Testing projects, both manual and automated.

  • Demonstrable ability to independently create a project plan, charter, forecast, understand budget vs. actuals, perform variance analyses, manage stakeholders' communication, project updates, and project deliverables, and track them to closure.

  • Must have working experience in Trade and Order Management Systems across various instrument types.

  • Experience in Charles River or any Order Management System is preferable.

  • Excellent understanding of the Front to Back-office processes

  • Demonstrate abilities to work with people across geographic locations and communicate well in English.

  • Possess decent functional knowledge ( 7 out of 10 on a scale of 1-10, 1 being poor, 10 being excellent ) in the capital markets, especially in the middle and front office functions.

  • Knowledge about the UAT ( User Acceptance Testing ) - end of end is mandatory.

  • Ability to highlight project risks and create plans to mitigate them.

  • Demonstrable ability to understand and work on Use Cases, arrange end-user demos, and create placeholders for knowledge management.

  • Demonstrable ability to train and retain people, promptly highlight people-related issues to the senior Management and determine and deliver appropriate actions.

  • Experience in defect Tracking and Defect Management Tools like HP ALM, JIRA

  • Ability to be instrumental in regular end-user client and stakeholder updates about the Delivery of the program.

  • A deep understanding of work order management and the ability to define deliverables is required.

  • Experience in Test Coordination and Test Status Reporting

  • Experience in writing SQL queries during problem-solving and extracting data from various sources.

  • Experience in Eagle, Portia, SIMCORP, or any Accounting application is preferable.

  • Experience in accounting functionalities - Pricing, Corporate Actions, Valuations, collateral, custody reconciliations

  • Ready to work on the ground as needed, flexible, and adapt to the changing environment.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
