A successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience with dialysis patients and will be able to meet submission and compliance deadlines as positions are limited and submission timelines are approaching. Location: Los Angeles, CA
Shifts: 36 hours per week; 12 hour shifts, days, rotating weekends
Payrate: $59.00 per hour for the first 8 hours, $88.50 per hour for the last 4 hours, ($2,478/wk)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform dialysis procedures according to prescribed protocols and physician instructions.
  • Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during dialysis sessions, responding promptly to any abnormalities.
  • Educate patients and families on the dialysis process, dietary restrictions, and self-care techniques to enhance their understanding and involvement in health management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of dialysis equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with biomedical technicians for maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including social workers and dietitians, to develop and implement individualized care plans and address the holistic needs of dialysis patients.
  • Respond to inquiries from family members, advocates, and other interested parties while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Deliver all services in accordance with applicable standards of care
