As an After School Teacher, which we call an Explorer Teacher at Primrose School of Tewksbury, youll help care for little ones aged 5 to 8 who are enrolled in our after-school program. Youll implement a fun and flexible curriculum with student-led projects that focus on leadership, character development and design thinking.

• Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
• Help children learn and explore in the areas that interest them, from technology to art and more.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
• Two positions are available. One full-time and the other part-time.

Positions Available

• Two positions are availableone full-time 9a - 6 pm and the other part-time 2:30 - 6:15p

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have an associate's degree or above, and have 3 months of experience working with school-age children.
  • Or have a high-school diploma and have 6 months of experience working with school-aged children, including three months of supervised experience at a school-aged childcare program.
  • Or have 9 months of experience with school-aged children, including 3 months of supervised experience at a school-aged childcare program.
