Process Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our close-knit team in Merrill, WI. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and productivity. This is a crucial role within the company, as you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality
• Implement Corrective Action Reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing and operations to identify areas for improvement and obtainable solutions
• Conduct inspections of incoming RMA material and finished goods inventory
• Manage first run/sample production orders and complete required reporting
• Analyze data regarding waste, while developing new strategies to minimize it
• Train production staff on new processes and equipment

Skills:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or 5 years experience in flexographic printing
• Previous leadership or management experience
• Great computer literacy with MS Office, statistic programs, and engineering software
• Proven ability to implement process improvements
• Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies for troubleshooting production issues
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
