Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct finance and accounting audits for the company's escrow and title retail branches.
- Conduct financial and accounting audits for the company's accounting processes and systems.
- Review and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Evaluate internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management.
- Assist in the development of audit programs and testing procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure audit objectives are met.
- Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. (required)
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of audit experience preferred in the escrow and title industry.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion, and SoftPro is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills (required).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and audit software.
