Work Description – Experienced/Journeyman Painter

Skills and Knowledge Required

• Team player, proven history of leading

• Proven history of reliability

• Must have a valid driver license and good driving record

• Must have own tools, ladders and vehicle

• 5+ years experience

• Must be able to perform all painting skills (cutting, brushing, rolling, taping/masking, etc.) at an expert level

• This is a W2 position. No subcontractors will be considered.

Duties Required to Perform

• Communicate with Manager to understand scope of each project in advance

• Pick up paint and supplies from paint store as required

• Communicate on-site with owner to ensure satisfaction

• Conducts hands on painting as part of overall project team

• Track painter daily hours and report to the GM

• Ensures all systems are being followed by team

• Ensure job site is left neat. Vacuum up all drywall dust and paint chips.

• Conduct “wet walkthrough” and then followed by walkthrough with project manager or in their absence with client prior to completion of job

• Ensures deficiencies corrected on site

• Ensures that the project is completed on time as scheduled

• When time permits drop off door stickers to neighboring homes

• Present invoice and collect payment from customer in absence of Project manager

• Submit payment and return all necessary paperwork after job completion
