This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for providing assistance to the various departments within Engineering.

What You’ll Do

  • Currently studying or graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Field
    • Preferred experience level of a Junior / Senior
  • Shop engineering role learning various race team support processes.
  • Learn how to document post-race data, as well as help team engineers reset parts for next race.
  • Gain experience using a Romer arm to QC parts, chassis, body builds etc.
  • Provide team support by processing pre- and post-race information provided by NASCAR and GM tools.
  • Operate and understand the process of the NASAR Hawk-eye for inspection.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Studying for or received a Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 1-2 years of experience strongly preferred but not necessary.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills with Windows Based Programs, understanding of Roehrig Software is preferred, and ability to learn and use other advanced software programs.
Certifications & Licenses: N/A
Other Requirements: Mechanical Engineering or related degree preferred. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, flexible work schedule and an understanding of vehicle dynamics and engineering principles required.
