IT / Bistrack Administrator

Mead Lumber Company is hiring an IT / Bistrack Administrator. Mead Lumber Company Inc, founded in 1910, is 100% Employee Owned, and was listed in the Lumber Building Materials Journal as the 18th largest Pro Contractor lumber/building materials retailer in the country. Mead operates 52 Lumber Yard, Retail, Truss Plant, and Component locations across 9 Midwestern states.

The IT / Bistrack Administrator is primarily responsible for supporting the Bistrack software and process flow for the company. The role will include training, integration, process flow, support and working with Epicor on maintaining updates and upgrades.

• Maintain current system to support operations on a daily basis for BisTrack issues.
• Maintain security of BisTrack through process and structure for user access and security.
• Support and recommend when hardware should be replaced or updated.
• Support and lead Bistrack integrations for future acquisitions
• Create training and One Point Lesson (OPL) for users.
• Work with Epicor (software support) on system issues and updates as needed.
• Monitor software and process to keep BisTrack secure.
• Maintain and update processes as needed.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• College Degree preferred
• Associate degree in IT

• Knowledge of BisTrack system and structure.
• Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to recommend changes to drive business objectives.
• Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, making clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the confines of education or documentation.
