Position: Groundsman I Reports to: Grounds Maintenance Manager

Division: Maintenance FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Employed: Full Time, 12 months Direct Reports: None


Job Summary

This position is responsible for daily completion of assigned tasks on the campus of Brookstone School in the grounds department as assigned by the Grounds Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • String trimming

  • Edging

  • Blowing sidewalks

  • Removal of trash from grounds

  • Assisting with field painting

  • Raking playground mulch

  • Pressure washing

  • Clean up after events

  • Cleaning of equipment

  • Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED, minimum

Additional Skills/Abilities: Satisfactory driving record and ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Physical Requirements

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Required special events and weekends, as needed.
