The Chicken Shack is a quick-service restaurant serving chicken wings & fingers, burgers, chili, and sides in a low-key space. We’re looking for amazing team members at our newest location near Trolley Square in Salt Lake City.

Cashier Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicates incoming orders with the cooks.
- Prepares plates and/or to-go packaging for orders as needed.
- Ensure each station has the adequate amount of all needed condiments, containers, side dishes, etc. and restock as needed.
- Assemble and deliver completed orders to guests in the dining room.
- Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain personal cleanliness.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
