POSITION SUMMARY:
The Material Analyst will play a crucial role in managing inventory, ensuring accurate data, and supporting our manufacturing and supply chain process. The primary responsibility will be to compile, clean, and systematize data flows to determine the material needs for our manufacturing facility and safety stocking. Additionally, this role includes following up on the placement of orders and in-transit deliveries from our largest vendor in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in data analysis tools and be bilingual in English and Spanish.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
Gather data from various internal and external sources, including Forecasted Demand, Real Sales Trends, Manufacturing Performance, Available Inventories, In-Transit Materials, and Estimated Material Deliveries from third parties.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by identifying and correcting discrepancies.
Systematize data flows to provide a clear and accurate picture of material needs.
Analyze data using tools; Excel, Google Sheets, and other data analysis software to determine optimal safety stocking levels and material requirements.
Use data insights to support decision-making in inventory management and production planning.
Follow up on the placement of orders and monitor in-transit deliveries from our largest vendor in Mexico.
Communicate with the vendor to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that arise.
Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate data findings to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, or other advanced tools for tracking key metrics and trends.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE:
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel, Google Sheets, and other advanced platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.).
Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work with large data sets and multiple data sources.
Understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
A degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Data Science, Engineering) is preferred but not required.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical, leadership, and proactive planning skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
Ability to think critically about situations as they arise, and problem solving to a practical solution.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with others, friendly and personable.

Works primarily indoors in a well-lighted air-conditioned office, you will be required to be on the non temperature controlled production floor daily. Daily contact with departmental personnel and vendors. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional bending. May lift, carry, pull/push, and reach for supplies and on occasion lift (up to 50 lbs.) while performing various aspects of the job.
Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, colored vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; continuous use of vision, hearing and speech.
Position requires the capability of managing stress effectively; work is fast-paced and can be demanding. Work requires organizing; prioritizing; accuracy and attention to detail. Flexibility in order to assist with/coordinate a variety of projects and activities and to adapt standard methods and procedures to differing conditions; works in a high-volume environment.
HOURS / SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; present to fulfill job duties & meet operational demands/support; schedule may vary depending on plant operational needs thus flexibility is required which could include long days, occasional evening & weekends; regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position; position may require travel to meetings, conferences, workshops or other facilities.
